What Guests Are Saying
Cherryvale Park is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a pleasant destination for families and campers. Many visitors enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, with ample shade and wildlife, and appreciated the friendly atmosphere. However, some concerns were raised about the condition of certain bathrooms, dead trees in the area, and occasional noise disturbances, indicating room for improvement in park management.

Great place to camp. BE SURE TO...
... Take bug spray .. lots of ticks this year
... Check to see if your selected campsite has water .. there is one section that only has around four total water spigots .. or take lots of hose
... use the facilities ... lots of great facilities at Big Hill
... take your discs .. there is a great disc golf course .. lots of really cool and challenging holes .. be in shape, it is a long walk :)
There are a lot of awesome campsites and it looks like a pretty new dump station. Power is good 20, 30 & 50 amp serivice. lots of water pressure.

We stayed in site Two. We will not stay there again. Between the ticks everywhere and the flooding after each rain- it was not a great stay. We could not use the picnic table after the first time because we had to keep pulling ticks off us. The leaves need to be raked back further to the woods. We had a outdoor rug out to cover up someone the leaves and it had ticks on it too.
It needs more gravel to help with flooding - it was very muddy. You could see the river trial were it was coming off the pad and flowing into the woods.
The restrooms were clean. The park was overall very clean. We love the full hookups. Our phone reception (T Mobile) was better this time. We seen a park ranger drive by once during our four day stay. We never seen the camp host. This has been the same for our last few visits. Before Covid we seen them daily, but I guess budget cuts have caused less workers.
