What Guests Are Saying
Cherryvale Park is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and spacious campsites, making it a pleasant destination for families and campers. Many visitors enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, with ample shade and wildlife, and appreciated the friendly atmosphere. However, some concerns were raised about the condition of certain bathrooms, dead trees in the area, and occasional noise disturbances, indicating room for improvement in park management.

Nice site. The only problem is that the previous occupant left trach in the fire pit.

The site was very nice. The water and electricity hook up was close and the site was a pull through. Plenty of shade. Close to the bathroom.

Wonderful experience for our first time camping! The host was very nice and kept the camping areas clean.
Spacious sites. Great Stone picnic table and additional high top for standing or cleaning fish. $24/night was a reasonable rate for our shakedown trip. No ticks or major bugs. It is gnat season and they were easily repelled. Hookups were perfect. The campground info only mentioned 50AMP so we brought a 50A to 30A dogbone. However, it does have 30AMP as well. Good water pressure and level sites. We didn't need to level at all in our C Class. For Memorial Day weekend it was quiet and peaceful. Just the roaring of the boats were heard on the lake, but that was expected and not annoying or disturbing. We were camped at SITE 3.

Great place to camp. BE SURE TO...
... Take bug spray .. lots of ticks this year
... Check to see if your selected campsite has water .. there is one section that only has around four total water spigots .. or take lots of hose
... use the facilities ... lots of great facilities at Big Hill
... take your discs .. there is a great disc golf course .. lots of really cool and challenging holes .. be in shape, it is a long walk :)
There are a lot of awesome campsites and it looks like a pretty new dump station. Power is good 20, 30 & 50 amp serivice. lots of water pressure.
