This campground boasts both a campground and day use area with many activities and amenities for families and outdoor enthusiasts. We used to camp here often years ago, but got away from it for a time. Brought back many wonderful memories of our kids and all the fun we had. We were saddened to see that the Corp has taken down two of the three playground sets, and left only the sorriest one. Camping is about KIDS! Bring back the playgrounds! Aside from that, we had a great time! Saw bald eagles on several occasions, even watched one catch a fish twice. Saw a golden eagle as well. Overall, we were well-pleased and plan to go again soon!

Our first visit but we will definitely be back. Nice sites, clean with plenty of space. Camp host were excellent and helpful. Went to see Puckensville visitor center. It was closed for repairs. We will go on our next visit. Looked very interesting.
