This is an awesome place. The host was very friendly and knowleageable and the location is amazing. We saw 2 bull moose down by the lake and mule deer grazing through the campground in the morning. This is one of my favorite camping spots on my trip.

The camp host (Doug) was so accommodating. He was on top of everything making sure people followed the rules (there aren't that many!) and keeping the peace (ah - quiet hours). This really is one of the best campgrounds in the summer. It's cooler than other places and the lake right nearby (just down the hill) makes for great walks or hikes. He says there are wonderful fish in the lake (not a fisher person). Love, love, love this campground. It is a little noisy on the sites by the road.
