Little Mill campground offers a well-maintained and clean environment with friendly and helpful staff, making for an enjoyable stay. Visitors appreciate the beautiful setting, especially in the fall, and the proximity to outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking. Too close to the main road. Literally 20-30 yards, almost every site. No point in trying to "camp" here with all the vehicle noise. ATV's, motorcycles, and cars of all sorts roaring up and down the road all day and all night long (at 1am and yep, still traffic going up/down the canyon). Literally every 20 seconds you have one of those huge 6-person ATV's zooming by. We left after the first night (reserved a two night stay). Even the kids were ready to bolt. Went to spend time doing the Timp Caves which are super close; we did that, then packed up and will never be back to this campground. Also, liter and "TP" everywhere. Staff/host did a poor job of cleaning up, maybe? Yes, they had the leaf blower out and were hosing down pads/fire pits the next day; but that's it. Trash all over in the woods a mere 10 feet from our tent site. I will say the pit toilet area was actually pretty clean-- if you like pit toilets. Good luck to you if you decide stay at this road side campground.

I stayed there with family/friends for 10 days in 4 different sites. I wish it was just one
Site. I really like this place and it’s simple and clean.

I learned my lesson to reserve it ahead of time if I want to stay for 10 days.

We love camping at Little Mill. The spot we are usually able to get is just fantastic. What a nice campground. The location is close to home and we really enjoy taking our RV up and spending time there. The canyon is beautiful any time of the year. The camp hosts do a marvelous job. They are always making sure things are alright. The restrooms are kept so clean and orderly. We were grateful for all the hard work they do to make this an exceptional campground.

the map of this campground online does not match the physical traits of the campground. We made our reservation based on what was shown on the map. Sadly, our camp site was NOT by the stream. we had to haul all of our camping gear from a parking space uphill to a site that had previously been a day-picnic site. We spent two nights there each a week apart. Each time the other campers were stunned at their crappy site. Do not pick sites 11-15 for a fun time. They would make great day sites but they are lousy camping sites. No privacy. Too close. Awful!
