The campsite we stayed at was clean and complete. The campground host was very helpful and ran a great campground. The second day, the weather took a serious turn for the worse. Night time temps dropped to 13 degrees with snow and rain. The Host was out checking on us and all the other campers. We had the chance to hike a little on the third day. Beautiful area as usual. We finally left one day early due to the freezing conditions. Our gratitude to the Campground Host for being so diligent and friendly.

Only four campers for the weekend. I believe some folks may have stayed home because of the fires, but the weather was great all four days. Some smoke on Sunday from the fire in Sequoia NP. Great camp host, everything was clean. Did not use the restrooms so can't comment on them, but I'm going to make a leap and say they were probably clean and well maintained as well.
There is a trail to the lake around site #12 and it makes a nice walk down to the lake and back. Also good for a bike ride.
