Boat ramp closed. Poor accommodations for those with boat. Construction noise and traffic.

My daughter and I camped here one night hoping to ride the MTB trails the next day. Unfortunately, the trails were too wet and not open. The swimming beaches had weird sand mud, the water was muddy, and the heavy rain washed all sorts of gross stuff and foam onto the beaches so we didn't swim. I forgot to bring discs for disc golfing. Kind of a bust for activities. But, the campsite, bathrooms, and hosts were terrific.

We had not been camping at Sugar Bottom for several years and we were pleasantly surprised at the improvements/changes that had been made. Our group was able to get sites together, close to water, close to the restrooms, and with plenty of shade. The many activities in and around the area are great. We plan on at least 2 or more camping trips to Sugar Bottom in 2020... Great Job...

The primitive campgrounds were very accessible for people with limited/no camping experience. My friends and I had a great time while there.

We love it there but it is taking a long time to get the ones close to the water opened. Did all that work down there and for what. Need more new spots. For instance 170 - up to whatever the numbers are in the two lower roads weren't opened all last year and maybe part of the year before. Also the reservation thing. Use to be able to go early and put down a small tent to save the spot . I think the govt. Is afraid the older people that like to camp the most aren't bringing them any money in. Well you are losing alot if money but not having those lower ones opened
