No bathrooms or showers, picked my site location due to being disabled and was suppose to be close to restroom. 2-300 cigarette butts I the grass of campsite (not an exaggeration) and a large amount of white dog fur everywhere in the grass also. Furepit had garbage in it. Bugs were beyond comprehension

We had a wonderful stay at Sugar Bottom. The attendant at the check in station was extremely helpful and pleasant. I enjoyed our business dealings and the personal interactions. Also, the bathhouse and park was clean and orderly.

Cars and boats parking in the grass by camping spots, dogs off leash, my dog got attacked by a pit bull. Had to call sheriff and ranger. Dog was put on trespass and that's it. Heard that others have had issues with the same people/dog. Lack of garbage cans. Lots of acorn trees, Large rocks in camping spots.

if you are looking for a relaxing weekend, this may not be the campground for you. It seems to be a lot of people who are interested in more the Rv party atmosphere more then a relaxing weekend enjoying the outside. The amenities were fine, it was just noisy with people who seem to think I want to listen to whatever it is that they are blasting out that would be better suited for a bar.

Our boat was too long for the parking spots and dnr was very helpful with assisting us in getting a place setup for parking it.
Bathrooms were clean except for the drains in both showers (men’s and women’s) would not drain, which left you standing in the dirty water.
We enjoyed our weekend spent at Sugar Bottom and plan to return again.
