The 3 mile RT hike to the Group Camp Site area offered a plethora of spring flowers to view. Only a couple fallen logs challenged us;I am sure the Corp will have cut a path through them before our next stay. A lovely campground.

The water level was very low and there was no way to get to the water except walking down the boat ramp. That did not seem very safe, so we never went down to the water. One member of our group went off to the side of the boat ramp to go fishing but did not catch any fish. I liked that the sites were drive through and they were pretty level. I did not need to level my RV. The sites did not have much unhilly area so our group of nine rigs pretty much stayed by the site that had the flattest ground area. The sites were well maintained. The fire pits were good. The only reason I will not camp there again is that the road to the camp is very narrow and winding and I was afraid the whole time I was driving in and out that I would meet another RV or truck and be forced off the road. We never left the camp during our stay because no one wanted to endure that road until we absolutely had to. We did enjoy the camping trip, and it was much quieter than many other campgrounds.
