Drive-in tent-only campsite Buck Lake Conservation Area is the most ecologically diverse property in the District’s South Central Region and features rare inland salt flats along the St. Johns River floodplain -- remnants of ancient saltwater systems from a time when sea levels were much higher. The drive-in tent-only campsite is located on the west side of Buck Lake near the boat launch and observation tower.
