overall a good experience. However there are some maintenance issues that need resolution. We were in CO60 and had electrical issues with the GFI plug on the power pole. what ever was plugged in, tripped the GFI. tried several devices. Friends in an spot two away had Water issues with the restrictor/backflow adapter on the site hose bib.

Our experience was outstanding, from the Host that helped us find a site, to the Ranger that checked us in, to the perfect site with a view of the lake. It was all good!

I came in on Friday 2/14/20 without reservations. The volunteer host gave me a map and showed me what was probably available. I found this spot and it worked out well. Although it says tent only I have a 19' (box length) travel trailer I was able to fit in the spot easily. I had a great view to the west for some awesome sundowns. I did not use the restrooms & showers as I'm self-contained I did use the water spigot across the road for water to put out the campfire as well as the trashcans. Good pressure and good flow.
Cell service with AT&T was mostly usable near the table. In the trailer 20' away it was not usable.

Great experience, drove to Yosemite for a day trip, 83 miles each way. I got cell service at the entry office area, or by walking up to a high spot near our site.

I normally don't post for places I like because I don't want a million people coming and ruining my vacation but feel the need to give a review because me and my family love Eastman lake and this Campground. The park rangers are always helpful and informational and ever since I started going there in the mid 90's it just seams like all the fishermen respect the sport and each other, has a good (dysfunctional, lol) family vibe!!

we enjoyed the quite and peaceful surroundings. There was no loud noises or loud vehicles on the premises. Campground was clean. Camp hosts were professional. There was a water problem that was taken care of in a timely fashion and we were notified of the problem immediately and kept updated until the repair was completed. Other people in our group were very pleased with their first time at the campground and thanked us for the referral and noted that they would be returning to the campground in the future.
