What Guests Are Saying
Pickensville Campground offers spacious, well-maintained sites with a beautiful riverside view, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and outdoor activities like biking. The campground is noted for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and peaceful atmosphere, with many guests expressing a desire to return. While some facilities, like certain bathrooms, show signs of age and there are limited full hookups, ongoing improvements are being made to enhance the overall experience.

We were on Site 117 and while there a construction crew (Phillip’s Construction - great crew 👍🏻) were clearing the banks of the river on the campground side. They created a buffer zone, provided a clear view of the river and got rid of the ‘snakey’ areas!! It’s so much prettier than before and if you enjoy fishing or have kids or grandkids that want to fish 🎣, it’s safer!! We certainly appreciate the work that’s been done but why is Camelia Circle been closed for so long? At this time, sites 1 - 69 are unavailable and it’s the perfect weather for camping. Pickensville is our favorite place to go but right now ‘pickens are slim’.
