Nice quiet park. Plenty of places to walk. The underbrush was pretty thick in the uncut areas. Site 25 sewer was very slow and the gravel on the picnic area was very thin. The picnic table needed new boards. The bath houses were clean. Overall it was good but little improvements would make it much better.

We did not stay on the river side of the campground. It did not feel crowded where we were (site 55), despite it being the Memorial Day weekend. There was a little creek/lake right behind our site that had a dock on it. It was shady and nice. It was a perfect get away and we will be back!

This campground is great! While it’s neat and well maintained I love how it’s still left natural! So much great bird habitat! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go again. Bath houses are well maintained and clean.
