WE always try to get by the river were we can see the boats and barges. We love the times we are there with the grands and the kids. Dont really have to worry about them. Everyboby looks out for each other.

Pickensville campground was wonderful, very quiet and peaceful. We had a great spot right on the river and didn’t have a lot of traffic. We stayed a Monday through Friday. The day went left, the park was filling up for the weekend. It is a beautiful area. The only downside for me is that it has only electric and water so conserving is a must. We definitely would make the trip to Pickensville again.
