About Lakeview Cove RV Campground

Lakeside Resort is located on the banks of Starvation Reservoir, which includes nearly 3,500 acres of surface water. It is open year-round and is popular for fishing and boating. The park stands out like an oasis in the nearby rolling hills with layers of red shale, sand rock and sage brush. The park offers clean rest rooms with showers, a picnic pavilion and a volleyball court. A boat launch ramp and boat dock are available depending on lake level. As a guest, the lake provides the opportunity to relax while taking a peaceful cruise or the chance to do a little fishing (which is available year round). And if you prefer a more exhilarating experience, try some water skiing. Whatever you choose you will find what you鈥檙e looking for. There is abundant wildlife in the area which also makes the surrounding land great for hunting or exploring. Amenities Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy playing a round of horseshoes or volleyball with family and friends. When it's time for a bite to eat our members have access to fire pits, because there is nothing more synonymous with camping than cooking over an open flame. Lakeside Park has picnic tables, laundry facilities, restrooms, electrical hook-ups, water hook-ups, sewer hook-ups, fire pits, volleyball, Wi-Fi access, pull through sites, tent camping and dogs allowed (restrictions may apply).

We had a pretty bad drive during the day and needed to reroute. We were able to get in for our one night stay. Unfortunately my husband forgot his late father's razor in the shower area the next morning. I contacted Jenny and she has gone above and beyond to get that back to us. 2 times it was sent back to her. We are hoping 3 times will be a charm. If not she said she would get a plane ticket and fly it to us in MN! 馃 Customer service at its finest!

I love this place! The park manager is super helpful and friendly! A short walk down the hill and you can fish and swim, dog friendly is a major bonus! May not be for everyone, but I sure enjoy this place!

New owners!! I stay here each year and the place is looking better now. Grass can finally start growing again. I spoke with the manager, Jenny, and the new owners have the irrigation system fixed, they are remodeling a building, and they bought the manager a riding lawn mower. Can you imagine push mowing that RV facility for years? It sounds like more positive changes will be noticed over the next year as projects are completed. Special thanks to Jenny for putting up with me and I鈥檓 really glad she is working for owners that care about the facility. I can鈥檛 speak about the bathrooms or laundry as I didn鈥檛 use any this time around.

Jen was very nice when we checked in. Made sure we knew that we had to keep our dogs on the leash and to make sure we picked up after them. Unfortunately, the two trailers next to us each had two dogs that were never on the leash and their owners never cleaned up after them even though they went right where you walked through a grassy area to get to a little trail. Pretty disturbing. When my wife used the women鈥檚 toilet it only flushed the liquids not the solids so for two days so she never used it. It鈥檚 nice that the campsites are further apart and in a treed area. At $55 a night I would go to the state campground over at Starvation Lake. It鈥檚 only a mile from the west end of Duchesne. Full hook ups and on the lake where you can swim and boat from the campsite and campground is immaculate. And they鈥檙e only $35 for full hookups.

Not sure when these photos were taken. I understand we are late in the summer season, but there is not much grass. We have three dogs and there was not many comfortable places for them to lie down or even walk around in. I didn鈥檛 venture to the bathrooms, my husband told me they were not so great. The sign was ripped off where we were staying, so number 18 looked like 13. The map is not clear of where to go for what site. 1-10 but no signs for the others. I drove around the entire place trying to find our spot, but the owner came and led my husband where our spot was. The location is fantastic, this place has a lot of potential being so close to Starvation but just pretty worn down. We are use to getting papers when we sign into RV parks with a map and wifi, but not so much with this place. The state parks looked a lot nicer for $30 a night. HWY noise is pretty loud. Probably pass on this place next time we come. Dog poop area needed to be cleaned as well as the poop basket was overflowing.
