Love's RV Hookup-Amarillo TX 250

This is my second time staying at this location as it is a halfway stop between my daughter's home in MO and my home in AZ. The RV spaces are nice, but there is dog poop all throughout the grass around the rv sites. And the dog park is full of dog poop as well. It is disgusting. I cleaned up the large dog area the best I could, FILLING 10 large poop bags, but there was still at least another 8 bags worth just in that one dog area. I know it is the previous dog owners who were too lazy to puck up after their own dogs, but Love's should also have someone keeping the area clean for the paying customers. I'll be looking for a new place to stay the next time I am headed this way.

When I pulled into town for the loves rv I realized the reverse was not working on my rig so I couldn't back into my spot. Went inside to see if my spot could be swapped with a "pull through" site and met Diego. He got me swapped up quickly and did it with a smile on his face. The world could use more Diego's that's all I'm saying. We've been staying at Loves RV's across the country now for about a year and they are fantastic! Highly recommend them.

The Amarillo Loves (10 miles west of town) is right off a very busy highway which is a major trucking route. The RV park is at the closest point of the Loves lot to the fwy, with just an access road between fwy and the rv park. The traffic noise was quite loud all night long. Noise cancelling headphones/earbuds are an absolute must to have any chance of some sleep at this location.
On the positive side the park was clean and felt secure.
Also note no sewer hookups on the rv pads (looks to be plumped for it but not useable) though there is a dump you have access to with the stay. Reservation instructions did note this.
Next time I think I’d overnight at the visitors center right across from Buc-ee’s in Amarillo.

People who are using it are horrible pet owners too rude to pick up their dogs poop in the small dog area. We we staying at the RV stop(nice spots) took my guy over to play some kick ball. I picked up 12 bags of other people's dog poop! There was still probably another 10 to pick up when I said forget it.
I know Loves has signs and it is so nice they even have these facilities for us who own dogs that need to exercise on long days in a vehicle or motorhome.
I wonder is possibly a grounds keeper or loves attendant could possibly go out with a poop scooper at least one time a day.
