About Sunnyside County Park
Sunnyside County Park is a vibrant, waterfront destination offering camping, group facilities, and a wide variety of outdoor recreation. Campers can choose from power and water sites, non-hookup sites, including double and triple sites, and a unique yurt with a propane fire pit. The park also features two large group camping areas, each with 11 power and water sites, along with a reservable group-only shelter. A reservable shelter and picnic ring are available during the day, providing an ideal setting for reunions, club events, and other organized gatherings.
Recreation opportunities abound both on land and water. Visitors can enjoy a boat ramp and moorage, fishing ponds, water sports, swimming and kayaking access, and a convenient fish cleaning station. Onshore amenities include a volleyball net, playground, horseshoe pit, and dog park. Trails lead to the water’s edge, offering easy access for swimming and paddling. Additional amenities such as restrooms with showers help ensure a comfortable stay, whether you’re visiting for the day or settling in for a longer camping experience.
