Had a very nice time here this past weekend with our camper. Just my wife and I this time. Great campground for families and couples both. The owner has had this place for a while and has been making upgrades every year. A lot of the sites that aren't "full hookup" actually have electric AND water. He was very friendly and I enjoyed talking to him when I stopped in the office. He has a variety of items in the "Ranger Station" if you forget something. Great WiFi signal is available for no extra charge. Lake is beautiful, clean and had some nice looking bass swimming around. Was a nice and quiet weekend and we will keep this campground on our list the next time we go to Hocking Hills!

Stargazing!! Incredible! We also enjoyed the cabin and lake immensely! Cabins were very clean and comfortable. The lake was crystal clear. Looking for a nice weekend with the kids I’d go the this jellystone.

My kids loved the pond activities, and the cabin we slept in. I was a bit disappointed that there were no activities going on for the advertised Pirate and Mermaid themed weekend, it’s the main reason we made a reservation. When I asked others about it, they had no knowledge of these themed weekends. (Even though it’s on the website)
Also the pool is in the owners backyard, and a bit away from the campsite. I’m not sure if we will return to this location, but my kids did enjoy their stay.

We came to enjoy this but there was nothing. Very disappointed in our stay. Very little was fun about being here.
Only fun part was the activity n seeing yogi for my kids.
We booked earlier in August and it never said the fun stuff on the lake would b put away. The slide wasn’t in working order. The kids were extremely disappointed. No where was it posted or informed that the obstacles would be deflated it stated early fall it is not even fall yet.
Number on front door we call no one answers.
Goldmine is delayed opening compared to time on signs.
The beds in the cabins were extremely uncomfortable.
No events like posted on facebook or movie night like stated when we arrived.
Tube slide is a disappointment it hardly worked.
The pool is not close it is at the residents house which is kind of weird unsure how to get there or parking.
The yogi bear statue is not safe when taking a picture it acted as if it was going to fall on the kids.
Extremely disappointed. Cabin was $388 for two days n not even close to worth it. We won’t be back and would have been nicer tent camping unless we are accommodated for the bad experience.

We tent camped so I can’t rate the cabins. But the campsite everything we expected and more. We loved it! We had a prime camping spot. Everything was in walking distance. The girls in the ranger station were so nice and helpful. The bathrooms/showers were clean. And the lake was absolutely beautiful. On Friday night they played a movie and on Saturday my kids loved candy bar bingo. We were off hiking when Yogi visited the camp but my kids got to meet BooBoo and my daughter loved giving him a big bear hug! We plan to visit again next year for longer and get a cabin.
