What Guests Are Saying

The Crossings Campground offers a great location near Theodore Roosevelt National Park with spacious, easy-to-access sites. Visitors appreciated the clean and well-equipped cabins, as well as the straightforward check-in process. However, some noted the absence of showers and bathrooms, along with concerns about safety and site conditions, which detracted from their overall experience.

Visiting the Southern part of the park for a couple days. This was a nice, dog friendly rental that wasn't too far away.
We stayed in one of the smaller cabins.
The inside was cute and had everything you could need. The WIFI was a bit spotty for how few people were there, but it still got the job done.

Great campground located just off the interstate and close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Sites are large and easy to back into. There are no showers or bathrooms which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

We loved staying at the Wild Horse Cabin! The cabin was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family! The location is excellent, just a few minutes from Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Check-in and check-out was easy and the host was easy to reach. We would love to book again in the future and will definitely recommend to others!

This is basically a dirt parking lot. Our site wasn’t level in the least and it had large red rocks to park the camper on. You had to be careful not to twist your ankle on them. Our sewer connection only had a donut so the connection wasn’t secure. There was an awful smell in the campground most afternoons and you couldn’t sit outside or have your windows open. They isn’t any manager onsite so therefore the long term people just let their dogs run loose and they speed through the campground.

Just as others have mentioned, this is a no frills campground. There is no check-in office (all confirmed and handled online), no facilities or amenities, etc. You do get a very good size, fairly leveled, FHU site. It is in great location, near to several attractions. Since it is an unattended RV park, my concern was safety. But we stayed a week and felt very safe.

One thing you keep in mind when reserving a spot. If you are unable to select the same spot for your entire stay and you book multiple reservations, do not assume that you will be able to stay in the same spot once you arrive. You will mostly like have your move. We saw a lot of moment during our stay.
