We brought my five year old here after she had skied Cranmore a few times. I wasn’t sure how she would feel about it but she really enjoyed it. Her baby sister and I got a table in the cafeteria next to the window and there’s a hill we could watch her from. She loved that! The staff were all super nice and it was an overall positive experience. The parking is a nightmare if you don’t get there super early and some crybaby in a giant truck was giving the teen parking attendant a hard time and trying to pay him $20 to park in the disabled sports/special permit lot by the lodge. The poor kid was being so nice about it and this grown man was being an entitled brat. We finally stepped in and said get lost. Be nice. We’re all lugging equipment for kids across a mile-long parking lot. You’re an adult. Stop moaning. Otherwise, every single person was lovely and our daughter couldn’t get enough of chatting up new friends on the lifts. So many other little kids skiing, too. It was perfect.

Went there this past weekend and the weather was great. My son and I were going to tune for a few hours while visiting family. Bought tickets ahead of time and it was easy to pick up, the use of rfid cards makes everything easier once you get used to it. Allll the staff were super friendly and kind, my son has a disability and while physical capable, directions and understanding processes can be tough, but everyone was super patient, happy to let him figure it out and I couldn’t have been happier with our visit. Only downside is very few/small restroom if you have small kids. Even left backpack and came back the next day and they had it right there!

My daughter had her first ski lesson yesterday at Gunstock. Her instructor, Mike was amazing. It was a group lesson and there was all adults except my ten year old daughter. He was very attentive to all students and had great tips for each for after class. He even took my daughter up the chairlift at the end of class, to let her have an opportunity as the rest of the class wasn’t ready to go up it. She did fall when unloading from the lift but he got her up, reassured her and she wants to do it all again! And it’s a very special thanks to him.

Great green and blue lanes for beginners! Love the waffle stand. Stunning view at the top! The food was reasonably priced and not a long wait for checkout and waiting for a table. Will come back again!
