Maramec Spring Park

Go here a couple times a year. I love to walk around the springs and feed the Fish. The Park is always clean and we'll maintained. I try to leave it cleaner than I found it so I will pick up any debris left behind by others.

This is a magnificent gem of a park. Crystal clear waters where you can practically see the trout swimming around. Perfect for fishing right off the bank and there are great little fish cleaning stations with water to use.

Beautiful stop over. Pull thru electric site. Campground is spotless. Bathroom/showers were clean and heated...perfect for November camping. Pretty River trail. So many trout tou could see hundreds in the river. Some road noise. But all in all highly recommended.

This place is absolutely pristine!! Tranquil clear waters & beautiful scenery was everywhere! Fishing is allowed toward the end of the hatchery area & there's plenty of covered areas to have a nice lunch or just relax. Highly recommend & we'll definitely be back!

We stopped by Merrimack Springs Park near St. James and were really impressed. The water is crystal clear and absolutely stunning—perfect for just sitting and soaking in the view. Tons of fish to watch and or catch. It’s well-kept, quiet, and a great place to enjoy nature for a few hours. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
