Whiting Park

Whiting Park is located on beautiful Lake Charlevoix in Eveline Township, between Boyne City and Ironton. It is situated on approximately 240 acres of beautiful forest with 4 miles of hiking trails. The park includes a campground with 53 campsites, 14 of which are universally accessible. The campsites are all located on or near one-half mile of Lake Charlevoix beachfront. A restroom/shower building, pump-out and potable water station are available.Whiting Park Beach: Offers approximately 500' of waterfront on Lake Charlevoix, with half of it designated as a swimming area (no lifeguards on duty). This area has playgrounds, grilling stations, and a restroom facility with universally accessible areas. The other more rustic half has boat anchoring for those enjoying the day on the lake and is designated as our dog- friendly area.Whiting Park also offers Rental Facilities: Whiting Hall - a large rental building (with a kitchen) that seats up to 250 people. Log Cabin - a classic 1940's style cabin that seats up to 60 people. Two secluded pavilions - with picnic tables and electricity, one with lighting. The facilities grounds offer: Children's playground, picnic tables and grilling stations. Trails with varying difficulties and a book-walk for children as well.
