What Guests Are Saying

Love's RV Hookup in Steele, AL, features a clean and well-laid-out facility with strong utilities and convenient nearby amenities, including a 24-hour Subway. However, there are maintenance issues, such as a falling fence, water leaks, and an unkempt dog park, which detract from the overall experience. Despite some noise from trucks and minor safety concerns, many guests appreciate the staff's friendliness and the park's potential for improvement.

I was a business owner. I hate to see things left go that could make this place a 10. The fence that is Gorgeous is falling over. There’s been a water leak for quite some time- ankle deep water around the lot. Beautiful shelters with picnic tables. Bird doo so think you can’t touch them. Cement is nice under them also covered in yuck from birds nest. Would not take much to fix it. Time and care. The folks were so nice. The place was clean except under the shelters

The google review asks inappropriate questions for an RV park, it is not a hotel and there are no rooms. The RV facility has a lot of potential...BUT...the dog park is not maintained and is covered in dog crap, trash cans are overflowing both in the truck fueling lane areas and in the RV Park, and the ruts in the grass between the pads are sooo incredibly bad, aparently due to customers who can't drive on the pavement, I assume this site will be a windfall for a local injury attorney. The ruts are a major safety concern that will cause someone to fall and break something, if they haven't already. We have stayed here twice, and they are consistent.

Clean and straightforward overnight. Utilities worked great. Community fire pits look nice, but in reality I don't think most travelers use them. They did seem to make good cigarette butt collectors, though. Not much truck noise. A couple of sketchy people after dark: one inside the store asking everyone if they wanted a dog and another guy who was dropped off by police straight into the RV park. He was walking away with his dog. Felt a bit strange. Despite any awkwardness, we would stay again.

This park is a very nice addition to the Love's RV collection. It is ultra clean and very well laid out. We arrived late and only stayed for a total of 8 hours before hitting the road again. The wifi was strong, the electric box was in perfect condition and the water was nice and strong. I measured the pressure at 61lbs. We did not have to hook up sewer on this stay. The only downside is the noise of the trucks coming and going, but, hey, it is a truckstop! Perhaps some shrubbery to buffer the edges could help. We will definitely consider Love's RV stops on future travels, it is just too convenient!

WE love love this RV stop. I gave a 4 star review because of the water pressure. We had horrible water pressure and notified the front desk people about it. They could not do anything about it. The loud cars are a pain but we had our fans going to drown out some of the noises. We walked over to the Subway and had a sandwich. It was good. Subway is open 24hrs a day. Good stop!
