We found our freedom in 2020 when we took a year to explore breathtaking state and national parks. We made a big loop around the U.S. with our then 4 month old. “Freddy” is a 2017 Coachmen Freelander 20CB Ford Transit. Freddy is extremely easy to drive, so much so that you need to remind yourself you are bigger than you feel. She has a perfect tip to tail length of 23.7 feet long which allows you the freedom to park in a normal parking spot at the grocery store, hiking trail, or beach. We love being in Freddy so much, she quickly became the only thing we wanted to drive. We love driving on the Ford Transit chassis as it is comfortable and agile. Additionally, Freddy gets almost 14 miles to the gallon! You can fly right in and do not need to bring anything but your backpack of clothes. We will provide fresh white plush microfiber linens to comfortably sleep 5. Additionally, we will include 6 quick drying extra large Turkish towels. Just stop at your favorite grocery or find a local farmers market and you are all set to explore. Freddy is set up to be able to camp wherever you like with as many or as little resources, but all the comfort. Freddy has 2 house batteries to run lights without the need to be plugged in. Additionally, if your adventure takes you to a remote location where you cannot plug into electricity Freddy has a built-in generator that allows you to use the microwave, TV, or air conditioner. Freddy has all the comforts of home: a propane stove, ninja oven/air fryer, shower, swivel rocking chair and comfortable queen bed. Best of all no need to stop for potty breaks as you can go in the comfort of your own bathroom anytime! Additionally, Freddy has plenty of fresh, grey, and backwater tanks. We double filter all fresh water so it is excellent for drinking! It gets filtered when the fresh water tank is filled as well as through a Pur filter when you fill your cup! Freddy also features a large electric awning with LED lighting. We include a large fashionable washable rug to complete your campsite! If it is your first time, we created YouTube videos to walk you through the use of Freddy!
